Was worker fired for complaining about asbestos in a school?

Another Muncie school is having to deal with the asbestos problem.
Earlier it was Muncie Central High; now it's West View elementary.  According to construction workers at West View the asbestos has now been removed, but not before one of the workers removing it was put out of work.  Johnny Smith spoke to the Muncie Star-Press about his displeasure with having to work in what he thought were unsafe conditions, and, according to his former co-workers, Smith no longer is on the project.  NewsLink attempted to contact Smith for confirmation, but our calls were not returned.
