A Henry county family has seen their house burn to the ground for a second time.

The fire is estimated to have started around 10:30 in the morning with no injuries.

Mrs. Green, the owner of the home in Mount Pleasant, was surrounded by friends and family members. She watched helplessly as the flames destroyed her home again. Green said her first home burned down in 2001.   

"I just don't see how this could happen again," Green said.

A neighbor of Green said she was the first to notice the fire and call 911.

"I was upstairs schooling the kids when I started to smell smoke," Green said. "I looked out the window...got in the car and headed over here."

More than ten emergency vehicles arrived at the scene.

At this time firefighters do not know what started the fire.

Green had no comment as to where her family will be staying in the meantime.
