Formal charges have been filed against a Muncie babysitter and her daughter in connection with the death of a four-month-old infant. The latest of the charges were filed against the daughter of babysitter Tina Byrd. Scenes on the Ball State campus: FROM SGT. ROD RUSSELL AND THE INDIANA STATE POLICE Heavy snow fall is being reported by troopers on I-69 in Delaware and Grant Counties. Troopers are investigation several slide-offs and property damage crashes on I-69. Road conditions are deteriorating quickly and visibility is limited to 1/4 mile in most areas.

Despite cold and snowy conditions in Muncie this weekend, one of the city’s biggest events is still a go. The Muncie Mission Ministries Walk A Mile In My Shoes event will kick off at 8:00 a.m. at the Horizon Convention Center. Mission Director Ray Raines said that he likes the snow and has a reason that the event is scheduled during the winter.
